our aim is to help deobis navigate the creative side of fandom more easily. aside from tracking fests and maintaining a discord server where writers can share ideas and talk, we retweet/share things we're tagged in and events that might interest deobi writers and content creators. if you want us to RT your work/event, tag or DM us! :)basic guidelines
1. we can share any kind of content - fanfic, socmed au, fanart, wipweds, etc.
2. we can share works in languages other than english, just please let us know if there's any major content warnings we should be aware of beforehand.
3. please tag explicit and sensitive works accordingly!
4. most things we share contain or deal with RPF (real people fiction). while that doesn't mean we can't share gen content, if you're not comfortable with RPF, this might not be the place for you.

we are also on discord! our server is moderated and meant as a place for deobis to talk and meet like-minded friends. over there you can discuss ideas, find beta readers and sprinting partners, promote your work and recommend your favorite fics, etc.we keep track of fest dates and deadlines as well (check the #announcements channel), so it's easy to see what's happening in the ficdom. fest mods also have a private channel in case there's any need to communicate with each other.to join us, just follow the link:

tbz scavenger hunt

hi, deobi! the aim of this event is to help you find and recommend your favorite THE BOYZ fics.the tbz tag on ao3 currently holds over 5000 fics, which means plenty of works and authors to celebrate. with that in mind, we thought it would be fun to explore new works and revisit old classics together!will you join us? 🧡

how does it work?
1. every monday @tbzofourown will post 5 themes (3 general and 2 nsfw)
2. you choose at least 1 theme and find at least 1 tbz fic that fits that theme
3. if you haven’t read the fic yet, you read it and leave kudos;
if you have read it, you can leave a comment and/or recommend it on social media using the hashtag #tbzscavengerhuntthere is no sign-up. you have an entire week to participate with the weekly themes after they've been posted on monday.

I want to pick more than one fic / I want to pick fics for more than one theme per week, is that allowed?
yes! there’s no limit to the number of themes/fics you can choose. the guidelines are there to encourage you, not limit your options. go wild!I want to join but I don’t want to make public posts / I use a private account
feel free to use the weekly themes for yourself or with your friends! no pressure to be a public participant if that’s not your thing. we encourage those who are willing to rec fics using the hashtag, but if that’s not your case, that’s totally fine. you can think of it as different ways to join, like different (but cumulative!) categories:💌 the researcher — finds new fics in the tbz tag to read and leave kudos
🎉 the cheerleader — leaves comments on fics
🌟 the influencer — recommends ficshow do I know for sure the fic I chose fits the theme?
if the fic is tagged with the proposed theme (for example, it's tagged "co-workers"), then it most likely fits, don't worry. but let's say one of your old favorites doesn't have that specific tag - maybe the characters are guns for hire in a post-apocalyptic world, but they work for the same boss, so you consider it a co-worker au? that’s fine! don’t fret about adhering to the themes perfectly - again, they’re there to guide you, not restrict you.(still have questions? reach out via twitter, curiouscat or discord and we'll be happy to help!)
